Sermon Supplemental - Eternal Thinking

This has been a pretty incredible week. Our kids’ ministry has been at camp this week and has had an amazing time. Stories were started this week that will reverberate throughout eternity. As I think about the decisions that were made this week and how Jesus can change lives, I am reminded of a verse that we talked about a few Sundays ago.

' “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. '

MATTHEW 6:19-21

As we think about our life choices, we need to look at things from a deeper perspective. What are we doing today that will make a difference in eternity? What are we asking God to do in our lives? Is it more self-oriented or are we asking for things that can change the world?

Let us spend some time each day intentionally making an impact.

Make decisions with an eternal mindset. Have deeper conversations that have the potential to change lives. Create bridges to gospel with every action that you take.

See you on Sunday!
